Spring has certainly sprung and we are really looking forward to the plans we have in place to celebrate Sew and So’s 20th Anniversary, but more of that later!
You will note that we have introduced a weekly class on a Tuesday afternoon for those who need a little help with sewing in general with dressmaking in mind. Sallyann Gagen who has a wealth of experience has kindly offered to run this hopefully ongoing 8 week course at a price of £60 for the term. If you would like to join please call us now as obviously numbers will have to be restricted.
Sadly Duffy cannot join us this year due to health and house problems but we wish her well and look forward to seeing her next year.
We were delighted to have hosted Janet Clare teaching her “Field Guide” workshop and leaving us with a few signed copies of her beautiful book of the same name. We very much hope to have her back later in the year. Her new fabric range from Moda “More Hearty Good Wishes” should be with us very shortly.
As you will see from the programme we are having our Annual sale of Retired shop samples on Thursday 28th of May in the workroom above the shop. There are always some fantastic bargains to be had with all the monies raised going to our Orphanage. All the money too raised from our Quilt Show on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th July will go to the same place, St Joseph’s in Thailand. So please make a note in your diary now and pay us a visit.
As we mentioned earlier Sew and So’s will be celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary in September and we have lots of surprises up our sleeve for you to enjoy, but more of that in our next newsletter and workshop programme.
We hope you enjoy the workshops we have arranged for you and look forward to seeing you all very soon.
Thank you again for your support. God Bless
