SUMMER FLOWERS PAINT N STITCH

A lovely creative day using fabric paints and free-motion “scribble” stitch to create a Summer Flowers picture with a glint of sunshine sparkle. No artistic experience required – just your enthusiasm - you don’t need to know how to paint or even how to stitch in a straight line! This workshop is a fun introduction to using free motion stitching and requires no prior experience – our tutor will demonstrate step by step how to paint layers of colour to represent flowers & foliage shapes and then free-stitch the outlines, stems and leaves. Customers will need a sewing machine that has the option to drop the feed dogs for free-motion stitching (the shop has machines to borrow - please book with the shop if required).
A kit is supplied on the day containing all the materials you need. £7 payable to the tutor.
