Meet FENCHURCH the sleepy polar bear who’s ready for bed in his rainbow-coloured quilt. He’s been wrapped up warm watching the Northern Lights dance in the sky above him but now it’s time for a snooze. This panel, created using Helen’s favourite method of Foundation Paper Piecing, would make a great wall hanging or large floor-cushion cover. Full instructions for FPP will be given during the class, but some experience of the technique would be an advantage. Each student will receive a full set of instructions, with colour photographs and diagrams, to complete the project at home. This is a machine sewing class.
FENCHURCH can be made as a stand-alone project or combined with the two further bears coming up later this year to make a stunning quilt, hanging or a bed runner.
