The spikes on this New York Beauty style book cover reminded Helen of the Statue of Liberty; hence the name (nothing to do with the fabric company, although this would look lovely made in Liberty’s fabric!). In addition to full tuition for the wraparound Foundation Paper Pieced motif on this lovely book jacket, Helen will be showing you how to make a jacket that fits snugly on your A5 hardbacked book or diary. These make beautiful gifts and with the skills you learn on the workshop you will be able to make covers for any size or shape of hardbacked book or album. Each student will receive a full set of instructions, with colour photographs and diagrams, to complete the project at home. This is a machine sewing class.
