Using shrinkable fabric to create a highly textured and coloured panel with lots of ideas on how to use in a piece of stitched textile work. You will learn lots about the principles of colour and using procion dyes and their effects on different natural fabrics.
Mary will provide a pack of materials to use on the workshop which will include: A piece of the shrinkable fleece or artic wool felt, plus twelve different fabrics - silks, velvets, cottons, linens, muslins, cotton tapes and lace. Pack cost: £15 per person, payable to Mary on the day. Dyes will also be provided in a range of colours.
