SallyAnn has always had a interest in sewing, mainly dress making from a very young age and went to Art college in the late 70′s and studied Fashion and Textiles. Katharine Guerrier has been making quilts and embroideries since 1980. She was trained at Camberwell School of Art in London and worked for some years as a teacher. Further courses in textiles followed, particularly the one year course in design and embroidery at Loughborough College of Art in 1983/4. [Read more]
Ruth’s first memory of sewing was on an old treadle machine in Guernsey at the age of 5 and she has sewn constantly ever since. After studies at school in dressmaking and textiles she spent 6 months with London Designer Rory West until she joined Bogod Machine Company in London, the sole importers of Bernina Sewing Machines, as a tutor and sewing machine demonstrator.
